Member qualification for the program means meeting rigid requirements and standards to ensure absolute commitment to excellence in every aspect of the business. American Standard dealers also constantly seek ways to improve the customer experience. After most interactions, a Comfort Care dealer will provide a Customer Satisfaction Survey, which rates their performance and offers them valuable feedback. Not every dealer can live up to these rigorous demands, and our firm is reevaluated on an annual basis for Comfort Care Dealer status.

The North American Technician Excellence, Inc. is a certification program aimed at setting a standard of excellence in the field of heating, air conditioning, ventilation, andrefrigeration. Their Air Conditioning Excellence, (ACE), program serves the sole purpose of recognizing high-quality industry technicians through certification, and NATE is uniquely qualified to provide the HVAC/R industry with an inclusive and independent certification program valuable to technicians, contractors, and consumer.
NATE certification tests represent real world working knowledge of HVACR systems. Developed by a committee of industry experts nationwide, our NATE exams represent HVACR topics pertinent to contractors, educators, manufacturers and utilities alike.

Being a member of this organization means pledging to uphold the highest ethical standards, maintaining proper state and local licensing, carrying the proper insurance, and complying with local codes and regulations.
Quality One was founded in 1998, when Charles H. Moran III began approaching other independent contractors in an effort to combine resources to be able to purchase materials and services for our firms at better prices due to volume discounts. By doing this we are able to pass our savings onto our customers. We can compete with the larger companies while still continuing our tradition of personalized service our customers’ value. This association has proven to be a valuable business resource enabling increased purchasing power, better employee training, networking ideas, and reliable companies to refer to customers.
The Air Conditioning Contractors of America, (ACCA), is the nation’s premiere trade association of heating, ventilating, air conditioning, and refrigeration, (HVAC/R), contractors. ACCA’s member network of more than 9,000 contractors nationwide also includes manufacturers of HVAC/R equipment, wholesalers and distributors, vocational and technical schools, facilities, operators, and others.
Moran’s Refrigeration Service, Inc. has been a member of ACCA for over 30 years. We are proud to say we have had both of Moran’s Presidents serve terms as ACCA’s President. In 1991, Charlie Moran served as President of the organization. In 2000, his son and current President Chuck Moran took his turn serving as ACCA’s President.
